It’s time to do something new to grow a generation of people who live out their faith boldly in every area of their life...at work, study, home, with friends, and when no one is looking. This generation will bring hope and the counter-cultural way of Jesus to their world.

So, we’re introducing our brand new event: Young Adult Conference – Faith For Everyday Life

This conference will run from 16-19 April 2020 at Ocean Outlook – our stunning new accommodation at Luther Heights in Coolum. With this in mind, our existing young adult event - The Gathering - will no longer run in February.  The Gathering has been an amazing ministry that has had a huge impact and we are excited to see the ways that God will continue his work in our new conference.

The Young Adult Conference allows us to work with a longer, more flexible event dynamic. We know that a stronger community will be built by adding the extra day, and there will be more opportunity for people to connect, be in God’s presence together, rest, and enjoy the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

We are passionate about helping young adults explore and practice what it means for them to follow Christ in their own context every day, by asking questions like: How do we first understand who God made us to be, and then how do we remain faithful to that in all the various contexts we find ourselves in? How do we talk about God and faith in a way that is compelling and also natural and relatable?

This is an exciting new chapter for young adult ministry in QLD and we’re inviting you to get involved by praying, adding it to your calendar, and encouraging the crew around you to come along. Keep a lookout for more details early in 2020.
