We are really excited to Launch a new event in 2020 called Young adult conference. This is a new state wide event for young adults to come together and be inspired for the year ahead, equipped with skills understanding to live out their faith and be filled with the spirit of God to go into the world and live as his Disciples.

This conference will run from 16-19 April 2020 at Ocean Outlook – our stunning new accommodation at Luther Heights in Coolum.

This new event has grown out of our old young adult event, The Gathering, and we believe will take this ministry into new and exciting places.

The Young Adult Conference runs for an extra day to provide more opportunities for people to connect, be in God’s presence together, rest, and enjoy the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

A new workshop based conference style event means that our Young Adult Conference will be a much more personalised event where people can choose the topics to explore that are most relevant to their life and circumstance.

We have also introduced new registration options to help people reduce their costs by finding their own accommodation overnight.

We are passionate about helping young adults explore and practice what it means for them to follow Christ in their own context every day. Our conference this year will focus on exploring how we can live out our Faith in Everyday Life. How do we remain faithful to Christ in our jobs and amongst our friends? How do we make choices in a way that lines up with Christ? How do we maintain friendships and pursue relationships in a way that is grounded in the Gospel? These questions and so many more will be explored from April 16-19 at Luther Heights.

This is an exciting new chapter for young adult ministry in QLD and we’re inviting you to get involved by praying, adding it to your calendar, and encouraging the crew around you to come along.
