Safety & Care

Safety and care are key focuses for our camps. On our LYQ Camps, we’ll be caring for campers by ensuring that;

  • Campers enjoy professionally catered meals so that food is yummy and meets any dietary needs.
  • Every leader has completed a stringent application and training process and has an active Blue Card (working with children check).

Every camp activity is risk assessed and managed.

“This camp has left me coming home feeling spiritually refreshed. Being able to pour out  into the next generation and seeing them engage in learning more about God is so encouraging. It was an honour to be apart of” CLW Coolum B Leader 2024

Introducing your Camp Directors

Aiden Ericksson

Hi, I’m Aiden, one of your CLW Coolum B directors. With Corinne and the team, we’re planning a truly fantastic camp that’s fantastic AND fabulous with a sprinkle of, as the Oxford dictionary calls it, excellence and indescribable wonder. How cool.

It is a priviledge to direct this camp. It’s been ten years been part of the CLW community, and so I understand how affirming, transformational, and joyous it can be. My prayer is for camp to be impactful and inspiring, and where all leave knowing God a little more.

I am currently studying a Bachelors of Psychology and Social Work, with the intention of being a school counsellor. I have a deep commitment to pastoral care, especially to young people. I love music, hiking, urban design, and current affairs (I am cool, I promise). On Sundays you’ll find me worshipping at Our Saviour Lutheran Church (Rochedale)

I am so keen for camp!

Corinne Stewart

Hello! My name is Corinne and I am one of the Directors for CLW Coolum B.

I am excited to be directing this camp alongside a team of enthusiastic and passionate leaders who want to impact the next generation. I have been involved in youth and children’s ministry at Our Saviour Lutheran Church as well as Forest Lake Baptist church.

I have over 15 years’ experience of being involved in creating meaningful and fun activities and programs for youth. I am a primary school teacher who brings many skills to the camping ministry and can not wait to meet the campers.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy watching AFL, relaxing with my friends and family and being in nature.

I am excited for CLW Coolum B 2025!
