Overview
Dapper Daytrips are created by young adults, for young adults, offering a variety of day trips for young adults throughout the year. Each trip features different locations and activities, but all share a common goal: creating a welcoming space where you can share the highs and lows of young adulthood. Whether you prefer chatting over tea and cake or engaging in more adventurous activities, there’s something for everyone.

A typical Dapper DayTrip includes time to simply chat & hang with others (card games always present), a ‘tentpole’ activity, and worship. Participation in any activity is entirely optional, giving you the freedom to choose what you do!

Dapper Daytrips wholeheartedly welcomes all young adults who are interested in the community described above. Whatever your reasoning is for wanting to come along, we’d love to see you there.

The Program
This September, we are giving our ‘tentpole’ activity a second chance and heading back to Mt Coot-Tha for a nice walk on the JC Slaughter falls track. Join us for a 30-minute stroll (or speed), depending on what you’re feeling on the day, to take in the views. After that, we’ll indulge in life’s simple pleasures: food, chats, & card games , as we gather at our second venue (address given on the day, but close by) for dinner together. As the day concludes, we’ll finish in worship.

Saturday, 27th 

  • 2:00pm – Meet at J.C Slaughter falls picnic area 
  • 2:30pm – Lets get walking (begin the summit walk) 
  • 3:15pm – Enjoy the views 
  • 4:00pm – Arrive back at the picnic area 
  • 4:15pm – Vroom, vroom. Depart the picnic area (carpooling can be arranged!) 
  • 4:30pm – Chill time – games, chats and dinner prep! 
  • 6:00pm – Lets Eat! 
  • 7:00pm – Let’s Worship! 
  • 8:00pm – See you next time!
