The Gathering
The Gathering is a bi-annual young adults weekend retreat hosted around South East Queensland. It is a space that recognises and celebrates the importance of relationships and is designed to be a meaningful place for them. To fulfil this vision, The Gathering has activities solely focused on being a good-time, where cool people do cool things together, and other times for a more intentional deepening of relationships.
The Gathering is also an opportunity to grow in faith, wherever you may be in that. Each Gathering spends some time delving into a theme relevant to young adults, and all with a focus on understanding the life of Jesus.
The Gathering is simple; being relational and being about Jesus. Whether you are simply keen to do some shenanigans with some phenomenal people, or perhaps seeking some knowledge of Christ, The Gathering is the place to be.

The theme is spiritual formation: the process of being inwardly transformed so that our character & actions are natural expressions of Christ.
Two inspired speakers will help us unpack spiritual formation in both thought & practice.

Accommodation & Meals
We’re gathering at The Lodge, Camp Somerset.
The Lodge units rest beside Somerset Dam, overlooking the surrounding hills. Each unit contains a shared bathroom, kitchenette, lounge area and four bedrooms (bunks/double bed).
The heart of our time together will be the stunning deck – where we’ll gather for worship, teaching, & other relational things.
