LYQ is shaped by the hearts of our young adults, this is your space to grow, be loved, enjoy community and more! With expectant hearts, we explore the depth and breadth of young adult life, together. Through this ministry we hope to build a people of open doors. Above all, we are relational and we are about Jesus.

The Gathering

Every February, LYQ hosts The Gathering, an annual, 2 night young adult retreat at Somerset Dam designed for young adults to relax, refresh and be spiritually refueled.

Dapper Daytrips

Dapper Daytrips happen every few months and are a singular day event that travel to different locations and are built around spending a day together in community. They're filled with good times, so come along.

Dapper DayTrips create welcoming spaces where young adults can connect, share life and enjoy community. Whether you prefer chatting over tea and cake or joining something more adventurous, there is something for everyone.

Each trip includes different locations and activities, but the goal is always the same: creating a welcoming space where young adults can share the highs and lows of young adulthood.

More than 95% of LYQ holiday camp leaders are university students who generously give their time and resources to share the Good News about Jesus with teenagers and children on camp.

Holiday Camp leadership is a powerful way for young adults to grow in faith, build practical leadership skills, form lifelong friendships and make a real difference in the lives of children and teenagers.
