More than a camp - A Journey of Leadership Growth

Enthuse Leadership Camp is not just something you attend. It is something you grow through.

This five-day immersive experience is designed for Grade 11 Student Leaders (Class of 2027) and Youth Leadership Teams to step away from the noise of everyday life and step into a space where they can discover who they are, who they are growing into as leaders.

Here, leadership is not about performance. It is about development.

Students are invited into a journey where they:

  • Become grounded in who they are; their values, identity, and purpose
  • Flourish in confidence and courage, even in unfamiliar situations
  • Grow in their capacity to lead others with integrity and care
  • Build authentic relationships that shape how they lead beyond camp

This is a space where seeds of leadership are not just planted. They are nurtured, stretched and given room to shine.

Every moment at Enthuse is intentional, designed to help leaders grow from the inside out.

Monday – Stepping In

Begin the journey. Meet others. Start building a space of trust where growth can take shape.

Tuesday & Wednesday – Becoming Aware

Deepen self-understanding. Explore leadership paradigms. Reflect, challenge and grow in how you see yourself and others.

Thursday – Stepping Forward

Leadership comes alive. Step into real scenarios that stretch your courage, decision-making and resilience.

Friday – Stepping Out

Leave not just with knowledge, but with a renewed sense of identity, purpose, and the confidence to flourish beyond camp.

Our facilitators are more than leaders, they are mentors, guides, and co-journeyers in your leadership journey.

They:

  • Create safe, encouraging environments
  • Walk alongside students in moments of challenge and breakthrough
  • Believe deeply in the potential of every young person to blossom

Many have experienced Enthuse or Momentum themselves and now return to invest in others.

Safety & Care

Safety and care are central to LYQ Camps.

All leaders complete training, hold active Blue Cards, and are selected through a rigorous process. Every camp activity is carefully planned and risk assessed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

What to bring

Camp essentials include

Clothes, underwear, pjs, bedding, towels, swimmers, toiletries, sunscreen, insect repellent, pens, torch, raincoat, jumper and celebration night clothes.

Transport

To and from camp

Student Leaders are to make their own transport arrangements with their parents to Luther Heights, Coolum. Transport is not provided.

Additional Needs

We want every camper to have a great time

To help our leadership team plan an inclusive timetable, and so we can care for your child, we ask that you let us know if your child has any additional needs during registration.

Dietary Requirements

Professionally Catered

All our delicious meals are made with care in preparing gluten free, nut free, dairy free, and other meal alterative options. Please ensure you indicate your child's dietary requirements when you register.

Medication

Bringing Medication?

Please ensure medication is named and supplied in a clear sealed bag. We will also ask you to complete a Medication Form prior to camp. Medication is handed to camp leader's when you check-in to camp and retured when camp concludes.

Phone + Electronics

No using electronic devices on camp

One of the great features of camp is the opportunity for campers to disconnect and to fully immerse themselves in an experience of growth and fun. Electronic devices will be kept in a secure location and handed back to the owner on the last day.

How to set up your mylyq portal account and register for an event
New to LYQ?

If you have never booked using my.lyq.org.au portal before, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to my.lyq.org.au using your browser, or by simply clicking the ‘Register here’ button above.
  2. Select the ‘Sign Up’ highlighted text to create an account.
  3. IMPORTANT: Parents should use their name and email address to Sign Up, not their child’s. Children can only be registered by their registered legal guardian. Enter the captcha.
  4. You will receive an email with a verification link. Click the link in your email to verify your account. Once verified, sign in and finish setting up your account.
  5. Complete your Basic Information section by clicking Edit.
  6. Add your children by clicking ‘Add new’ under the ‘Manage Dependents’.
  7. You are now ready to register for events.

For duty of care reasons, LYQ require parents to complete the registration process including emergency contact, dietary, medical, additional needs and consent information for their child.

Student leaders must be nominated by their school to attend Enthuse Leadership Camp. 

Parents do not pay LYQ directly, rather, LYQ will invoice your child’s school. Your school will make contact you regarding their payment terms.

Student parking is not available at Luther Heights. For safety reasons, LYQ strongly discourage students from driving to and from camp.
