LYQ leadership camps help students step away from everyday school rhythms and enter a focused environment for leadership growth, reflection, relationship and purpose.

Mini-Momentum

Designed for upper primary student leaders, Mini-Momentum introduces foundational leadership concepts in a highly engaging and experiential environment. Students discover: Who they are, How they influence others, How leadership impacts community, Their potential to lead with courage and purpose.

Momentum

Momentum equips students with advanced leadership skills through immersive experiences focused on self-awareness, relationships, communication and leadership growth.

Enthuse

Enthuse challenges students to deepen their leadership capacity, strengthen their character and develop a vision for their impact within school and beyond.

All camps are facilitated using LYQ’s proven leadership framework and are delivered by experienced facilitators and the LYQ Blue Crew team.

We would say Leadership is learnt (1) and is a relationship (2). Which means that to get to the heart of learning leadership it needs to be contextualized and clear. To do that we co-create our programs alongside you to establish clear learning intentions and clear success criteria for learners. We also strive to make them incredibly enjoyable and fun!

When it comes to Leadership development Enthuse and Momentum have been some of our most impactful, enjoyed and remembered experiences. So much so that many who come on the camps, come back to facilitate as LYQ facilitators.

This is not simply because of the great content learnt, but because of the culture we intentionally build and most importantly the people who year after year put their time into youth and young people. LYQ LIFT

A 3yr gradual release model designed to support those called to minister to youth & young people
Co-created support involving local communities at every step
Built on the authentic lived experiences of LYQ staff and connections.

LYQ LIFT intends to explore youth ministry alongside those who discern a calling on their lives but importantly don’t feel they have the equipping.

We work with a community to intentionally identify roles, responsibilities, gaps and more to create a sustainable release of those to the person or persons in question.

Rather than a short view, we see the sustainable journey as being long. Commonly we see this process taking 3 years. Though each community is able to commit or support something different. It’s our longest and most thorough approach to leadership development

Student Leadership Team

Challenge: A newly appointed student leadership team needed alignment, shared purpose and clear focus areas for the year ahead.

Response: LYQ co-created and facilitated a structured half-day workshop focused on team identity, leadership values and practical goal setting.

Outcomes: Students clarified their shared values, strengthened their group vision and developed specific actions to guide their leadership throughout the year.

Year-Level Connection

Challenge: A year-level cohort was experiencing social fragmentation, cliques and limited opportunities for meaningful relationship-building.
